 <description>&lt;p&gt;Telling people about OpenStreetMap is fun.  Seeing &lt;q&gt;the lights come on&lt;/q&gt; when somebody &lt;q&gt;gets it&lt;/q&gt; is gratifying.  And that sort of face-to-face advocacy has been the most effective way to add new mappers to the community.
